Transcripts
Transcripts are the academic records of students at the College of William and Mary and are issued by the Office of the University Registrar upon the student’s request. Requests for transcripts usually are prepared and released within 3-5 working days. Additional time should be allowed for requests of student records prior to 1986, or requests made at the end of the semester. It is the policy of the Office of the University Registrar not to send partial or incomplete transcripts; thus, transcripts for currently enrolled students will not be processed at the end of a semester until all grades have been received and posted to students’ records. Official transcripts are generally required for admission to a college or university and for employment purposes.
